Zink seek a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Warehouse Supervisor. In this role you will support day-to-day warehouse operations while learning how to manage teams ensure productivity and maintain safety and quality standards. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to step into a leadership role within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in supervising daily warehouse operations including receiving storage inventory picking packing and shipping.
- Help coordinate workflow and assign tasks to warehouse staff.
- Ensure that all work is performed efficiently and in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or shortages.
- Train and support new team members on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track orders inventory and shipping activities.
- Help enforce safety rules and promote a clean organized and hazard-free work environment.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- Prepare and maintain basic reports on productivity errors and inventory movement.
- Ensure production material needs are staged according to the weekly plan.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelors degree in logistics business or related field is a plus).
- Previous warehouse experience preferred (12 years) with leadership experience a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic computer skills; experience with WMS or inventory software a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings or weekends if required.
