About the role
Join our dynamic team and play a vital part in supporting our pathology and hospital this role you will:
Provide exceptional client service manage phone enquiries reception duties and coordinate courier deliveries and specimen pick-ups across the hospital.
Support laboratory operations process and label specimens operate pre-analytical equipment and ensure accurate data entry and scanning of medical request forms.
Maintain high-quality standards participate in departmental quality assurance programs and adhere to strict protocols for specimen handling and storage.
Keep things running smoothly perform laboratory housekeeping equipment maintenance and assist with report printing and distribution.
Work as a trusted team member collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver safe efficient and timely diagnostic services.
About you
Were looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who can bring skill precision and great customer service to our team. You will have:
Relevant qualifications or experience in pathology with a strong understanding of specimen handling and laboratory processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and friendly approach to clients and colleagues.
Proven customer service expertise and confident telephone etiquette to manage enquiries effectively.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with the capacity to work independently under pressure while meeting deadlines.
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry ensuring quality and reliability in all tasks.
