Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Statistics Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on data analytics and visualizatio
- Strong proficiency in Power BI (including DAX) and other data visualization tools (Tableau QlikView etc.)
- Solid understanding of database management systems data warehousing and ETL processes
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate data findings into actionable insights
- Experience in project management and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
Responsibilities:
- Data Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives
- Collect and analyze data from various sources to uncover insights and trends
- Develop data models and perform data profiling to ensure data quality and reliability
- Dashboard and Report Development:
- Design and create interactive dashboards and reports using fit for purpose tools.
- Customize visualizations to effectively communicate key metrics and trends
- Implement best practices for data visualization and dashboard design
- Data Interpretation and Insights:
- Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques
- Provide actionable recommendations and insights to support decisionmaking processes
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams including IT finance marketing and operations
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver solutions
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data integration and alignment with organizational standards
