Job Description
We re looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant to support a dynamic finance team during a critical period. This short-term opportunity is ideal for a professional with strong analytical skills a passion for accuracy and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance accounting processes and support implementation of improvements
- Provide accurate financial information for decision-making
- Uphold effective financial controls and procedures
- Prepare monthly management accounts reconciliations and financial analyses
- Oversee budgeting forecasting and daily cash flow reporting
- Manage debtor/creditor aging and related feedback
- Handle VAT payroll journals and bank/credit card administration
- Support audit processes and preparation of annual financial statements
Requirements
What You ll Bring:
- A degree in finance
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- ERP system experience (essential)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (essential)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- SAIPA or SAICA Articles (advantageous)
