Job Summary
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Railway Design Engineer to join an established and reputable team within the civil infrastructure sector. This position is ideal for a driven professional with a passion for rail engineering to be based in Johannesburg
Requirements:
- BSc/BEng/BTech in Civil Engineering (Masters degree advantageous).
- PrEng registration or eligible for registration within 12 months.
- Minimum 5 years experience in railway engineering including:
- Geometric alignment design
- Condition assessments
- Maintenance planning
- Passenger stations and material handling facilities
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D for railway geometric design and documentation.
- Familiarity with South African and international railway and civil engineering standards.
