We are seeking a hands-on and experienced HR Manager to join our team in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full HR function with a strong focus on recruitment compliance with MEIBC payroll training employee relations and B-BBEE processes.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process.
Coordinate assessments for potential hires.
Oversee personnel administration: appointments terminations employment confirmations.
Assist new employees with Provident Fund submissions to MEIBC.
Ensure pre-employment documentation is authorized and up to date.
Manage training and development across all levels.
Assist with and approve monthly payroll.
Manage the HR department budget.
Handle all aspects of employee relations and industrial relations.
Prepare and submit relevant HR & IR reports.
Coordinate and administer the B-BBEE verification process.
Support the Operations Director with all B-BBEE-related activities.
Liaise with MEIBC and MIBFA for industry queries and Provident Fund matters.
Prepare documentation for the Bargaining Council and ensure adherence to the MEIBC Main Agreement.
Handle WSP & ATR submissions via MerSeta.
Actively participate in management Employment Equity and union meetings.
Grade 12 qualification.
Relevant Diploma or Degree.
Proven experience in a similar HR role within the manufacturing/engineering sector.
In-depth knowledge of MEIBC MIBFA and relevant labour legislation.
Solid understanding of payroll training employee relations and B-BBEE.
Experience liaising with bargaining councils and managing industry-specific compliance
Strong administrative interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle union relations and EE compliance effectively.
Education
Grade 12 qualification. Relevant Diploma or Degree.
