Red Ember Recruitment is seeking to hire a payroll manager for our client based in the Southern Suburbs.
- Ensure that all monthly payroll changes (new recruits terminations commission are processed in an accurate compliant and timely manner.
- Perform reconciliations and produce payroll costing and variance reports (excel based).
- Develop / create implement and maintain a system of robust controls procedures and policies relating to the payroll function.
- Support the business by continuously striving to streamline processes and use technology/systems more efficiently.
- Monitor compliance with payroll legislation.
- Submit and process statutory payments such as PAYE UIF and Workmen s Compensation.
- Manage all payroll related administration.
Requirements
- System: SAGE300.
- Number of employees: approximately 500.
- Payment date: 1 payment runs on the last working day of each month.
- Combination of fixed monthly salaried employees commission earner and hourly paid employees.
- Degree in Finance/Accounting or other related Tertiary Qualification (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
- Minimum of 3 years experience using SAGE300 (Must be SAGE300 not just SAGE) (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
- Minimum Payroll size of 500 Staff (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
- Ability to work with Excel formulas (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
- Must reside within or in close proximity to the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town.
