Job Description
- Minimum5 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proven experience working withimport / export transactions
- Completed BCom Degree in Financial AccountingHonours
- Proficient inSage Evolutionsoftware
- Advanced Excel skillsessential
- Posting of all journal entries
- Cashbook reconciliations
- Compiling monthly management accountsand providing insightful analysis
- Processing of foreign currency transactions
- Managing and supervising the accounts department including Debtors Creditors Cashbook and Financial Administrator and Payroll
- Liaising with banks SARS and auditors
- Preparing and monitoring expense budgets
- Monthly sales vs. targets performance analysis
- Inventory trend analysis: fast movers slow movers dead stock
- Reviewing daily sales to identify losses or low gross profit investigating causes
- Compiling daily sales and inventory reportsfor management and Directors
