Sales Account Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a minimum of 20 monthly visits to the top 30 active distributor accounts incorporating product and concept training or new business development discussions; maintain detailed visit reports.
- Manage daily client interactions including queries quoting order processing and general support services.
- Actively target and schedule meetings with new potential distributor accounts and large end-user clients within assigned territory and industries.
- Introduce relevant product solutions to new and existing accounts through proactive market engagement.
- Prepare accurate quotations including pricing availability and delivery timelines following internal procedures.
- Support marketing efforts including participation in exhibitions both independently and alongside distributors.
- Maintain stock awareness adhering to First In First Out principles where applicable.
- Generate and amend customer orders and related documentation including acknowledgments and forecasts.
- Provide continuous customer updates issue alerts and transparent communication regarding potential delays or conflicts.
- Record and respond to customer complaints ensuring full documentation and follow-up actions (e.g. credit notes corrective steps).
- Attend regular sales meetings and contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting including budget pipeline and forecasting activities.
- Develop and maintain sales activity plans forecasts and area/customer records to support tactical objectives.
- Deliver professional customer presentations and manage all aspects of the technical and commercial interface.
- Maintain effective cost control through thoughtful business travel and route planning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to cover absences and ensure seamless customer service.
- Demonstrate professional communication across all channels including phone email virtual calls WhatsApp and live chat.
- Uphold high standards of assertiveness responsiveness and interdepartmental collaboration.
- Ensure all actions align with health and safety policies as well as quality and environmental procedures (ISO9001 IATF:16949 ISO14001).
About You
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in B2B sales or account management preferably in a technical or industrial environment
- Strong understanding of customer service quoting and order management
- Proficient in MS Office Suite MS Outlook and digital communication tools (LinkedIn WhatsApp for Business)
- Self-motivated results-driven and highly organized with excellent planning skills
- Technically competent with a confident approachable and professional demeanor
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible open-minded and eager to learn in a dynamic growing environment
- Able to travel locally for regular client visits (approximately 20 visits per month
