This is an excellent opportunity for a Product Designer to lead the endtoend user experience strategy for a firstofitskind agricultural procurement platform backed by South Africas leading digital media group.
This Product Designer role is based in Cape Town (hybrid) paying R600K720K PA.
THE COMPANY:
This tech company is a firsttomarket procurement platform designed to digitise agricultural supply chains across the globe. Their core offering encompasses geolocation tracking supply chain traceability performance analysis and financial services solutions under a single platform that will allow producers unprecedented productivity increases.
They are backed by South Africas largest and most successful digital media group giving them the reach credibility and resources to scale their platform globally and reshape the agricultural sector.
THE ROLE:
As the Product Designer youll take full ownership of the design function shaping intuitive userfocused experiences across the procurement platform. Youll lead user research create wireframes and prototypes and design workflows that streamline complex procurement processes for buyers and suppliers.
Youll collaborate with developers to ensure your designs are implemented accurately balancing user needs with technical constraints. As the platform evolves youll establish and maintain a consistent design system to support scalability and visual cohesion.
As the sole designer in a growing team youll play a critical role in defining the products usability and experience directly influencing the product experience at a strategic level.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
3 years of experience designing UX for webbased products ideally in B2B or SaaS environments
Strong portfolio showcasing user flows prototypes and design systems
Proficiency in Figma (or similar design/prototyping tools)
Experience conducting user research and usability testing
Comfortable designing for complex workflows and translating them into simple intuitive interfaces
Solid understanding of responsive design and how interfaces translate to code (HTML/CSS/React exposure is a bonus)
