Our client a technologydriven company based in Centurion is looking for a skilled Full Stack PHP Developer with a strong backend focus to join their team. If youre experienced in working with legacy PHP systems and have a passion for optimizing and maintaining robust applications this opportunity is for you.

Duties & Responsibilities

Role Overview:

This position involves working on mature PHP systems with a focus on backend development performance optimization and serverside logic. Youll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing missioncritical applications in a Linuxbased environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 6 years of handson experience in PHP (version 5.5)
  • Proficiency in MySQL including complex queries and optimization
  • Strong experience with Linux (CentOS and Ubuntu) environments
  • Solid understanding of Apache web server configuration and maintenance

Beneficial Experience:

  • SLIM Framework for RESTful APIs
  • Smarty templating engine
  • Rancher (for container management and deployment)
  • Grafana (for monitoring and dashboards)
