Job Description

Head of Commercial

Minimum Requirements:

  • Masters degree or equivalent
  • Commercial degree
  • Be a highly responsible and greatly motivated individual
  • Have excellent administrative and analytical skills
  • Have great leadership qualities
  • Have an expansive knowledge of different sales and marketing aspects
  • 7 years or more proven sales track record required

Responsibilities:

Job Function:

  • Ensure that the defined strategies are accomplished by managing and directing the commercial team.
  • Lead the Key Accounts team and Head of Vertical in direct reporting
  • Create a strong business relationship with the seniorlevel sales executives of the company to identify and pursue the scopes for business development.
  • Responsible for coordinating effectively with sales marketing and executive teams to make it function smoothly.
  • Responsible for planning and executing both short and longterm revenuederiving strategies of the organization.
  • Manage the different aspects of the commercial and another related field of the organisation.
  • Successfully handle both short and longterm commercial ventures.
  • Ensure that the company is following the guidelines of the state properly by maintaining a strong grasp of the guidelines.
  • Lead and guide the customer service and pricing teams

Marketing & Business Development:

  • Develop and implement Corporate and Directorate business development strategies and plans working closely with Directors and their teams to ensure service strategies meet and exceed the demands of commissioners and that robust divisional business development strategies are in place.
  • Create and develop commercial opportunities to increase company income with both existing and new clients with whom you target initiate and develop business relationships.
  • Identify new market opportunities taking the lead on constructing robust and successful business proposals that secure new contracts and longterm client relationships for the company.
  • Ensure Directors and Executives are systematically appraised of market opportunities conditions and associated business development.
  • Take responsibility for the identification development and implementation of all joint ventures and strategic partnerships.
