Job Description

Role:BDR
Location:Johannesburg SA
Language:English & Business level Portugese
WFH policy:Hybrid (12 days in office flexible)
Industry:Cybersecurity
Product:Application and Data Security
Size and functions of local team: 5 Sales executives ( manager & channel manager & SE team)

Role description:
Outbound and inbound lead generation
Work closely with marketing and sales targeting accounts
Measured on:

  • 60% based on opportunities generated

  • 20% pipeline generated

  • 20% regional area attainment
    Tools: Salesforce outreach/email automation expected
    No fixed call quota but increasing phone activity encouraged (targeting 2030 quality calls/day)
    Requires strong internal relationship management and confidence to present in front of sales leaders

Must haves:

  • 6 months of BDR experience

  • Familiarity with B2B software or SaaS

  • Motivated self-driven and quick to learn

  • English Portugese business level.

Nice to haves:

  • Cybersecurity background
  • Arabic language skills
  • Experience with sales tools (Outreach Salesloft 6sense Demandbase)

  • Understanding of intent-based software

  • Presence and confidence to influence internal stakeholders

Salary range & secondary benefits:
Base: 20-24K (flexible for strong candidate)
Commission: 40%
Split: 60/40
Vacation: Minimum 25 days (country-specific)
45 weeks of onboarding
