Job Description

Our client is seeking an ambitious energetic and highly organised Project Manager to oversee the execution of their agri projects from initiation to completion.

This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless communication between the design team operations team and customers and driving projects to successful delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution:
    Develop and manage project timelines schedules and milestones for irrigation system installations.
  • Client Liaison:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the implementation phase - ensuring expectations are met and feedback is actioned.
  • Team Coordination:
    Facilitate efficient communication between the design procurement and operations teams. Ensure that resource bookings design approvals and site work are well-coordinated.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    Maintain accurate project documentation including implementation plans variation orders and inspection reports. Provide regular updates to internal teams and senior management.
  • Problem Solving & Quality Control:
    Anticipate challenges resolve conflicts and proactively address project delays or technical issues.
  • Systems Integration:
    Work with in-house tools and resource planning systems to track project performance and ensure proper data management and reporting.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in liaising with internal teams and external clients.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
  • Experience in sales is preferable but not a must.
  • Proficiency in project tracking software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with irrigation systems and agricultural environments is a significant advantage.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to remote sites as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s Degree or equivalent in Project Management Engineering Agriculture or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing projects (preferably in construction agriculture or irrigation).
