Job Description

Our client is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to sell formulated chemical products using technical organizational and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products / services to their needs resulting in revenue generation.
Salary and Benefits:

Responsibilities:
  • Establishes long-term ongoing repeat customer relationships and develops strong rapport with customers at appropriate levels of the organization.
  • Make regular in-person visits and telephone contacts to key accounts. Utilize record notebook to record all significant customer communication.
  • Territorial and sectorial management and harnessing of businesses with growth potential.
  • Profitably grow the companys business by deliberate and intentional identification of new account sales and growing existing customer business.
  • Follow up on all quotes to translate to sales offer trials and educate customers on product usage all with the aim of business growth.
  • Prepares and implements account plans and market strategies that are in line with the companys strategic plan. Looks for opportunities to market the companys products to existing and targeted customers significantly demonstrating the efficiency of the companys products.
  • Great understanding of the market trends and in depth understanding of the competitor activities to develop counterattack strategies.
  • Hands on approach very key to this position and the ability to push auxiliary support departments to ensure that customers needs are met in terms of product satisfaction timely deliveries and proactiveness.
  • Gather and report competitive pricing market information and record in record notebook and weekly report.
  • Submit expense reports in a timely fashion.
  • Participate in cross-functional sales and maintain contact with the Quality department to ensure that the company offers excellent product and services to clients.

  • Fully define all requested lab projects and maintain up-to-date information within companys recording system.
  • Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
Key Skills:
  • 4 years of experience within the hygiene services industry
  • Ability to manage projects by maintaining direction communicating specific needs organizing approaches to work and meeting deadlines.
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to create and maintain a collaborative team environment to build relationships and effectively work with all levels of employees.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. Possesses influencing skills as well as the ability to present complex situations in a clear and simple way.
  • Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality and strong adherence to the practice of business ethics.
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Word Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Consultation.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Chemistry Food Science Egineering Sales/Marketing or related field.
