Job Description

Our client is looking for a Logistics Officer to join their team.
Salary :
  • Negotiable
Responsibilities :
  • Interfacing and representing the Company when dealing with Transporters; Packaging Coal & Raw material Suppliers; Key Customers; Clearing Agents and regulatory authorities i.e. ZIMRA
  • Processing import permits for Agricultural commodities - dealing with the Ministry of Agriculture Ministry of Industry & Commerce AMA Plant Quarantine Services National Biotechnology Authority and Veterinary Dept among others regarding the clearance and transportation of the companys cargo (Imports & Exports).
  • Application - Export CD1s the acquittal of the CD1s for Exports and/or preparation of Vouchers of Cancellations (VOCs) for unexported CD1s.
  • Preparation of Management Summary Reports for Senior Management on Transport Operations & Logistics issues.
  • Preparation of Imports & Exports Tracking Reports.
  • Issuance of Loading Instructions Dispatch Notes and Collection Orders for all Inward & Outward cargo of the Company.
Key Skills:
  • Experience with ZIMRA and dealing with Ministries in terms of permits
  • Intense knowledge of the Import & Export of Commodities.
  • Clearing of commodities (knowledge).
  • Hands on usage of SAP system a must.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Logistics /Shipping/Supply Chain
