Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled and self-driven Field Service Technician to support the servicing installation and repair of agricultural equipment across various regions. This role requires strong technical expertise a customer-focused approach and the ability to work independently in the field to ensure optimal equipment performance and client satisfaction.
Salary

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing repairing and maintaining agricultural machinery and equipment on-site.
- Responding promptly to service calls and minimizing equipment downtime.
- Installing new equipment and training customers on proper usage and maintenance.
- Completing service reports and documenting all work carried out and parts used.
- Collaborating with technical teams to resolve complex mechanical or electrical issues.
- Advising clients on recommended repairs parts replacements and preventive care.
- Upholding safety standards and company service protocols during all site visits.
- Traveling regularly to client locations and working independently in field conditions.
Prerequisites
- Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Diesel Plant Fitting Agricultural Engineering or a related technical field.
- Trade test or apprenticeship in a relevant discipline is an added advantage.
- 3 5 years of hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing agricultural equipment or similar heavy-duty machinery.
- Proven experience with mechanical hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with tractors planters sprayers harvesters and irrigation systems preferred.
