Job Description

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and profitability within the assigned region. This includes the development and execution of effective sales strategies building and maintaining relationships with key customers and partners and leading a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed targets. The primary focus is on maximizing revenue expanding market presence and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy & Execution
    • Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
    • Identify new business opportunities and market segments to drive growth.
  • Team Leadership
    • Manage coach and motivate a regional sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and support team development through training and mentoring.
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key customers and channel partners.
    • Actively engage in high-value customer negotiations and relationship-building initiatives.
  • Performance Monitoring
    • Monitor analyze and report on regional sales performance market conditions and competitor activities.
    • Use insights to adjust strategies and improve overall performance.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate with Marketing Operations and IT to implement integrated sales campaigns and customer solutions.
    • Provide feedback from the field to help refine product offerings and service delivery.
  • Business Development
    • Lead customer acquisition efforts and drive the expansion of customer base and revenue-generating corridors.
    • Ensure high levels of customer utilization across existing and newly developed service lines.
  • Territory Management
    • Regularly travel across the region to engage with customers and support team members on the ground.
    • Ensure effective coverage and account management in all designated areas.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Degree in Business Management Sales Project Management or equivalent.
    • Additional certifications or courses in sales leadership or industry-specific areas are a plus.
  • Licensing:
    • Valid Drivers License and Passport required for regional travel.
Skills & Experience:
  • 3 5 years of proven experience in a sales leadership role preferably in a customer-focused or B2B environment.
  • Experience in the transport or logistics industry is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercially savvy with a results-driven mindset.
  • Analytical and strategic thinker with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Highly adaptable to evolving market conditions and customer needs.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and decision-making competence.
  • Collaborative team-oriented approach with strong cross-functional coordination.
Other Requirements:
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the assigned region.
  • Flexible proactive and responsive to business priorities.
