Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical engineering projects from concept through to commissioning
Oversee the design specification and procurement of mechanical equipment and systems
Ensure all engineering activities are aligned with project timelines budgets and quality standards
Coordinate with crossfunctional teams including process civil and electrical engineers
Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases
Prepare and review engineering documentation including specifications datasheets and reports
Ensure compliance with safety health and environmental standards throughout project execution
Minimum Requirements:
BEng/BSc in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
5 years of relevant project engineering experience in mineral processing mining or heavy industrial environments
Proven track record in managing mechanical projects from design to completion
Strong knowledge of rotating and static equipment
Familiarity with relevant engineering codes and standards
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Willingness to travel to project and plant sites as required
