Job Description
Join Exxaro Resources as an SCM Functional & Process Support Agent in Centurion Gauteng. Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve customer and stakeholder inquiries related to Supply Chain Management (SCM) procedures processes and systems within agreed service levels.
- Provide functional support to suppliers ensuring adherence to compliance and service level agreements.
- Handle case management including logging updating and closing tickets efficiently and escalating unresolved issues when necessary.
- Facilitate firstline enduser support and participate in SCM user training and community practices to optimize support activities.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and business units to standardize processes and promote functional excellence initiatives.
- Support delivery management by assisting users with selfservice systems and maintaining professional customer interactions.
- Maintain safety health and environmental compliance promoting a culture of safety and inclusivity in all SCM operations.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and policies fostering accountability and operational excellence.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a relevant qualification (Essential/Minimum)
- Experience in a customer interaction environment for a minimum of three years (Essential/Minimum)
- Understanding of SCM policies procedures and processes
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Essential/Minimum)
- Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems and/or cloudbased procurement solutions (e.g. SAP MM Coupa)
- Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum)
- Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interpret technical information effectively
- Commitment to maintaining safety and inclusivity in the workplace
- Ability to uphold Exxaros Employment Equity policy and align with corporate governance standards
