Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detailoriented Creditors Clerk to join our team and work closely with the bookkeeper.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate capturing of supplier invoices into Pastel Accounting
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Assisting the bookkeeper with payment preparations and remittance advices
- Liaising with suppliers regarding queries and outstanding documents
- Performing general office administration duties
- Assisting with stock takes and inventory record updates
- Handling and recording cash sales
- Printing and organizing product labels
- Providing support with other ad hoc tasks as required by management
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar creditors/accounts payable role
- Proficient in Pastel Accounting and Microsoft Excel
- Strong numerical and reconciliation skills
- High attention to detail and organizational ability
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to assist with a variety of administrative and operational tasks
- Experience in a stockdriven or retail environment
- Proactive flexible and able to multitask
- Trustworthy with handling cash and sensitive financial data
