Job Title:Financial Controller Outsourced Projects (x3 Key Assignments)
Firm of Auditors and Accountants
Reporting To:Director and Board
Job Purpose:
To provide highquality financial leadership and outsourced financial management to a portfolio of clients across three strategic project assignments. The Financial Controller will be responsible for ensuring sound financial governance reporting accuracy and commercial insight that drives client success.
Duties & Responsibilities
To provide highquality financial leadership and outsourced financial management to a portfolio of clients across three strategic project assignments. The Financial Controller will be responsible for ensuring sound financial governance reporting accuracy and commercial insight that drives client success.
Minimum Requirements:
Relevant BCom Degree (Accounting Management Accounting or Finance)
Completed Articles (CIMA SAIPA or SAICA)
Minimum 2 years postarticles commercial experience in a financial management or controller role
Fluent in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and cloudbased accounting platforms (e.g. Xero QuickBooks)
Experience with budgeting forecasting reporting and cash flow management
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with clients
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daytoday financial operations for 3 distinct outsourced client projects
Prepare and review monthly management accounts forecasts and cash flow reports
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure audit readiness
Develop implement and monitor financial controls and reporting processes
Assist with strategic financial planning and business analysis for each project
Support tax compliance VAT and regulatory submissions
Serve as the key finance liaison for clients building trusted advisory relationships
Prepare audit files and supporting documentation for external audit purposes
Communicate with key stakeholders including auditors clients and regulatory bodies
Ensure compliance with all applicable financial laws regulations and reporting standards
