Job Description
Toolmaker Montague Gardens Cape Town Salary R150 to R180 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Toolmaker with a strong background in plastic injection moulding and blow moulds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the manufacture maintenance and repair of precision tools dies jigs and fixtures used in our toolroom.
Key Responsibilities:

Manufacture and assemble moulds to specification

Maintain and repair plastic injection and blow mould tools

Read and interpret engineering drawings
-
Operate toolroom machinery including lathes milling machines and grinders

Ensure highquality finishes and tolerances
-
Troubleshoot tooling problems and provide solutions

Collaborate with design and production teams
Requirements:
-
Proven experience as a Toolmaker in a plastic moulding environment

Knowledge of both injection and blow moulding processes
-
Ability to use conventional and CNC toolroom equipment

Strong attention to detail and precision

Trade Test qualification advantageous
