FRAIL CARE GENERAL MANAGER / MATRON
(Registered Nurse)
The successful person will be a registered nurse experienced in managing a frail care centre / old aged home.
The Frail Care General Manager / Matron will manage a staff (Registered Nurses and Trained Caregivers) working a day and night shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure that all residents in the old aged home and care centre are receiving holistic care in respect of their physical psychological and spiritual wellbeing.
- Responsible for administration and new admissions of frail care
- Direct responsibility for maintaining occupancy and service levels of the Frail Care
- Maintaining and being abreast with all nursing policies and procedures
- Actively manage Frail Care procedures and standards (for example bed statistics etc.) and policies for the highest quality assurance
- Management of nursing staffs leave absenteeism and timekeeping
Desired Skills:
- Skilled in MS Office Word
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills

Desired Work Experience:
- 5 to 10 years as a Matron / General Manager

- South African Nursing Association
