Assistant General Manager (Operations Manager)
What are your main tasks
- lead a skilled team of individuals with responsibility for design quality technical services engineering manufacturing and logistical operations of the IAC Plant Petice 1
- developing manufacturing and operational strategic plans and generally overseeing their implementation to ensure maximum capacity utilisation of the manufacturing plant in order to achieve IACs strategy growth and profit objectives
- responsible for formulating policies programs and objectives affecting the schedule quality and cost of manufactured products
- directing and co-coordinating production according to quality and quantity specifications within cost objectives
- oversee planning and implementation of production plans including requisition for procurement of raw materials; and manufacturing of products
- corrective and preventive actions to achieve targets
- ensuring all divisions within the manufacturing area are properly staffed and coordinated to perform duties effectively
- ensuring compliance to all company systems guidelines & policies
- capacity analysis to ensure customer requirements
- providing strong leadership to the employees ensuring high morale teamwork and good employee relations at all levels including on the shop floor

What are we looking for
- mechanical engineering degree or equivalent education
- 10 years of experience in the automotive manufacturing industry
- 5 years of supervisory or management experience
- strong management and leadership skills
- reliable and trustworthy person
- excellent organization skills
- fluent Czech and English (German is advantage)
- exposure to automotive quality practices incl. Lean Six Sigma
- knowledge of standards IATF 16949 ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
