Job Description
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelors Degree (preferably in ITrelated Marketing or Commerce)
- MBA (preferred)
- 5 years experience working as a Product Manager or Product Owner
- Experience working with Development teams using agile methodology
- Exposure into the Africa landscape preferred
- A passion for technology and the large picture of how it can impact the continent
- A passion for inclusion in technology and how language can facilitate that
- Leadership capacity
- Strategic thinking
- User empathy
- Superb articulation and communication capabilities
- Customerfacing experience
- Experience in a Technology Company
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the product vision and roadmap
- Deeply understand our customers needs and challenges
- Explore and analyse the competition globally to build product strategy
- Create epics and user stories for new products and enhancements to existing products
- Approve the product readiness prior to launch (UAT)
- Document and communicate newly released features to stakeholders and provide training where required
- Align and communicate with internal stakeholders partners and providers
- Coordinate product releases with marketing sales operations and development team
- Gather feedback from customers partners and stakeholders
- Understand the African payment market
- Stay up to date with industry trends and players
