An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join a dynamic team working on behalf of a marketleading brand with operations across the African continent. This role offers the chance to work at a strategic level driving efficiency and performance across logistics networks and thirdparty logistics (3PL) partnerships.
The successful candidate will play a key role in optimising endtoend logistics operations supporting the rollout of new distribution centres and ensuring bestinclass logistics service delivery. Youll be integral in benchmarking logistics providers managing crossfunctional collaboration and leveraging technology to enhance performance and reduce cost.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving logistics efficiency across transportation warehousing and inventory control
- Managing and optimising 3PL performance through benchmarking and continuous improvement
- Leading the implementation of new logistics providers and distribution centres
- Collaborating with procurement finance marketing and supply teams to ensure supply chain alignment
- Delivering competitive advantage through logistics strategy development and network optimisation
- Analysing data to support commercial value through price variance account improvements
Ideal candidates will have:
- A minimum of 79 years experience in supply chain planning and logistics management
- A relevant bachelors degree ( Industrial / Business / Logistics / Supply Chain Management)
- Proven experience in managing 3PL providers logistics benchmarking and strategic network design
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to lead crossfunctional collaboration
