Job Description
Our client is seeking a dynamic Technical Business Analyst who combines strong analytical abilities with hands-on experience in SQL and software development. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into practical tech-driven solutions. Youll play a key role in streamlining processes supporting development teams and ensuring successful delivery of system enhancements and projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Engage with business users to identify and document system requirements and improvement opportunities.
- Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications that developers can implement.
- Use SQL to extract analyze and validate data for business insights and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with software developers during design and development phases to ensure business alignment.
- Assist in testing new features ensuring they meet user expectations before rollout.
- Document processes systems and user guides to support adoption and future maintenance.
- Coordinate efforts across departments and track project progress to ensure timely delivery.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Relevant IT Degree or Diploma.
- 4 years of experience in business analysis.
- 2 years of hands-on experience with SQL (queries stored procedures performance optimization).
- Proven experience in software development or database administration.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency with SQL Server and relational databases.
- Familiarity with C# or similar languages.
- Understanding of API integrations and data modeling.
- Strong analytical communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within collaborative teams.
