Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
Job Position: Stock Controller
Ref: 5033
Location: PE/Gqeberha
Salary: R17 000 to R20 000 per month commensurate with qualification and experience medical aid and retirement contribution
Qualifications / Requirements:
Minimum of Matric
Own vehicle essential
High proficiency in Pastel and Excel
Numerical efficiency and keen eye for attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse procedures and knowledge of the stock movement process
Strong work ethics and good attitude
High energy level
Key Performance Areas:
Weekly cycle stock count checks ensuring all items in the warehouse are appropriately received and stored
Review balance of inventory
Maintain checks on stock levels
Oversee every activity that relates to inventory control in the organization or warehouse environment
Reconciliation of final month-end stock and process accordingly
Reconciliation of all main warehouses for final month-end stock take
Check discrepancies and reasons why there are variances and report accordingly
Check stock movements with warehouse movements
Handle any Incorrect product dispatched
Invoicing for variances i.e. stock loss
