Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to join a prestigious luxury lodge group based in Johannesburg. This is a pivotal role for a motivated and strategic individual with a passion for hospitality business development and impactful guest experiences.
Key Focus Areas:
Sales Domestic and International
Develop new relationships and actively engage with domestic and international agents and partners
Drive business development across multiple products through regular engagement via email phone and face-to-face meetings
Plan and execute sales trips including logistics and meetings to secure business
Build and maintain a database of prospects agents and corporate contacts
Conduct market research and stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activity
Identify sponsorship and donor opportunities that align with company goals
Understand and leverage Corporate Social Investment (CSI) opportunities
Regularly review and refine the sales process to maximise conversions
Manage and optimise a CRM system to support relationship and lead management
Develop and maintain sales collateral such as brochures proposals and presentations
Prepare reports and forecasts based on performance metrics and analytics
Foster collaboration between sales enrolment marketing and operations teams
After-Sales Relationship Management
Maintain positive ongoing relationships with enrolled students and alumni
Coordinate logistics including travel accommodation and visa guidance
Act as the central point of contact post-enrolment to ensure a smooth transition
Encourage referrals and new leads through satisfied students and alumni networks
Build a community of brand ambassadors through continued engagement
Requirements Qualifications and Skills:
Grade 12 essential; a degree or diploma in Sales Management is advantageous
Minimum of 4 years experience in hospitality; 2 years experience in sales preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Opera advantageous
Valid Code 08 driver s licence and own reliable transport
Strong product and market knowledge within the hospitality industry
