Job Description

Hire Resolves client a reputable and established quantity surveying and project management consultancy specializing in mining engineering and infrastructure projects is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mining Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for mining and engineering projects.

  • Manage procurement processes including tendering and contract administration.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed projects.

  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

  • Collaborate with project managers engineers and clients to ensure project objectives are met.

  • Provide detailed reports on project progress costs and financial forecasts.

  • Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental standards on all projects.

Requirements

  • BSc (Honours) in Quantity Surveying.

  • Minimum of 4 to 5 years experience in mining engineering or civil projects.

  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as WinQS DimX and MS Office.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Registration with SACQSP or intention to register is advantageous.
