Job Description
Hire Resolves client a reputable and established quantity surveying and project management consultancy specializing in mining engineering and infrastructure projects is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mining Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Johannesburg.
Responsibilities
Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for mining and engineering projects.
Manage procurement processes including tendering and contract administration.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed projects.
Monitor project expenditures and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Collaborate with project managers engineers and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
Provide detailed reports on project progress costs and financial forecasts.
Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental standards on all projects.
Requirements
BSc (Honours) in Quantity Surveying.
Minimum of 4 to 5 years experience in mining engineering or civil projects.
Proficiency in industry-standard software such as WinQS DimX and MS Office.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Registration with SACQSP or intention to register is advantageous.
