Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all activities within the Production area ensuring smooth efficient and safe operations
- Monitor and control daily production output to meet quality and quantity targets
- Minimize product losses and shrinkage through effective process control and waste reduction strategies
- Ensure machine breakdowns are managed efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain productivity
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely repairs and preventive maintenance
- Lead supervise and motivate the production team to achieve departmental goals
- Ensure all operations comply with food safety and hygiene standards (e.g. HACCP ISO)
- Monitor production KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Liaise with planning quality procurement and logistics departments to support smooth workflow
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Food Technology Production Management or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong understanding of production processes food safety regulations and quality standards
- Proven ability to manage people solve problems and meet tight deadlines
- Good knowledge of equipment maintenance practices and production efficiency tools
- Proficient in MS Office and production management systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
