Job Description
Hire Resolves client is currently looking for an Electrical Engineering Foreman to join the mining team located in North-West. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing electrical operations and ensuring all projects are executed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily electrical operations within the mining site
- Lead and manage a team of electricians and technicians
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Plan and schedule maintenance and repair work for electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure project objectives are met
- Document and maintain records of maintenance activities and inspections
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Electrical Trade Test Certificate
- 8 years experience in the mining industry where 5 years should be in a Foreman position
- Experience working in underground mining environments
- Valid Drivers License
