Job Description
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a Reservationist for a prestigious luxury safari lodge based in Cape Town. This exciting role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team and represent one of South Africa s most exclusive hospitality brands.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of the reservation process with accuracy professionalism and exceptional attention to detail. A passion for luxury travel and high-end guest service is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and respond to all reservation enquiries via email phone and online platforms
Accurately process bookings and ensure all reservation details are correctly entered into the system
Maintain a strong understanding of lodge offerings room categories and rates
Communicate booking information to internal departments in a timely and efficient manner
Provide outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with guests agents and tour operators
Monitor availability and maximise occupancy through strategic booking practices
Process payments and confirmations and follow up on provisional bookings
Assist with general administrative tasks and reporting as required
Uphold the lodge s standards and values through professional conduct and excellent communication
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a reservations role within the luxury travel or hospitality sector
Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Proficiency in reservations systems and Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A customer-centric approach with a friendly professional demeanour
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Strong time management and multitasking skills
Knowledge of the safari industry or luxury lodges will be highly advantageous
