We are looking for a Marketing Assistant Intern to join our Johannesburg-based team for a 12-month fixed-term internship in our Diabetes Business Unit.

The position
As the Marketing Assistant you will support the marketing team with administrative pro-curement and coordination responsibilities to help ensure smooth operations across cam-paigns and internal initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in a global healthcare company that combines innovation with impact. You will directly report to Diabetes Busi-ness Unit Director.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Assist Brand Managers with administrative and operational support
- Coordinate procurement of marketing goods and services from approved vendors
- Manage inventory delivery and distribution of promotional materials
- Process promotional material approvals via Veeva
- Support finance procedures including vendor payment coordination
Qualifications
On a personal level were seeking a highly motivated and organized graduate with a pas-sion for marketing and a strong desire to learn in a fast-paced collaborative environ-ment.
To be successful in this role we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifica-tions:
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree majoring in Marketing or Information Sys-tems
- Strong Microsoft Office skills especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Foundational understanding of digital marketing platforms
- Science or medical background is a plus
