Job Description
Our client is seeking a qualified and experience Mechanical Draughtsman to join their dynamic engineering team.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Create detailed product designs aligned with specifications
- Develop precise drawings for manufacturing teams
- Provide technical support during production
- Collaborate with design engineers from concept to completion
- Ensure quality assurance in all detailing work
- Assist with product development and project documentation
- Liaise with Workshop and Engineering teams
- Supply drawings and information as needed
- Communicate across departments to resolve issues
- Meet deadlines consistently
Desired Experience and Qualifications
- Degree / Diploma in Mining Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5 years experience in a similar position
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and Office 365
- Proactive creative and solutions-oriented mindset
- Basic understanding of engineering design and mining principles
- Ability to thrive under pressure with great attention to detail
