Job Description
At GieseckeDevrient (GD) Mobile Security we develop innovative and secure digital solutions that enable trust in a connected world. As part of our commitment to nurturing future talent we are offering a 12-month internship opportunity to a passionate and driven Software Intern to join our team in Johannesburg.
What Youll Do
As a Digital Offerings Intern you will:
- Support DO team with day to day sales support activities. Including updating documentation and solution information.
- Gather working knowledge of product catalogue applications.
- Liaise between Product Management and Sales teams on solution requirements.
- Attend and provide input at internal technical pre-sales meetings
- Assist Project Managers to drive project closure when required
- Learn and maintain knowledge of industry market and solutions portfolio.
What Were Looking For:
- Recent graduate in Information Technology or related fields.
- CompSci or IT qualification in associated field preferred.
- Demonstrate Knowledge of cloud computing PaaS/SaaS - Qualification helpful but not required.
- Demonstrate knowledge of telecommunication and networking technology.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Windows Server and client environments.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to learn contribute actively and take ownership of tasks.
- Good problem-solving and analytical thinking communication and team collaboration abilities.
