Our internships are unique in that you will work on a substantial project with one-on-one guidance from one of our many experts in the Global Supply Chain arena! You will have the opportunity to network with other students with the same career interests as you in our program as well as get exposure to senior leaders in our company. And you’ll get paid while you learn! In your downtime learn how to network and ask our leaders about their experiences to gain greater perspective and learn how you can fit into our family.
Core Responsibilities:
Complete all assigned projects and tasks.
Learn the dry pet food process flow at the facility.
Interact with all levels of the facility to complete assigned projects.
Network and interact with interns at other Hill’s/Colgate locations and participate in any assigned social events.
Present to Hill’s/Colgate leadership a detailed summary of your project(s) including lessons learned and implications going forward.
Proficient with Google Suite applications (i.e. gmail docs sheets slides calendar drive)
Ability to work off-shift hours
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Current student within 1-2 years of their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completion in the following disciplines; Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering Electrical Engineering Industrial and/or Systems Engineering Manufacturing Procurement Grain Science Feed Science and Supply Chain Management/Logistics Business Analytics/Information Systems.
Other Requirements:
Authorization to work in the United States with no need for sponsorship now or in the future.
3.0 or higher GPA
Mobility and willing to relocate for the Summer Program from June to August

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $ - $ USD
Pay is determined based on experience qualifications and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses profit-sharing and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical dental vision basic life insurance paid parental leave disability coverage and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employees hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
