Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a multi-talented and passionate Marketing Manager for a prestigious luxury lodge group based in Cape Town. This is an executive management role suited to a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of brand integrity high-end travel markets and the luxury hospitality sector.
This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the brand s presence across both local and international markets with the primary objective of increasing revenue through strategic marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will be a charismatic professional with experience marketing exclusive high-end brands and the ability to work within a dedicated close-knit team.
Develop and execute the group s overall marketing strategy ensuring consistent brand representation
Drive international and local awareness of the portfolio through strategic digital and traditional marketing campaigns
Generate publicity opportunities and manage media relations effectively
Oversee and maintain all brand-related collateral internal and external signage and stationery
Manage digital content creation including blogs social media captions website copy and content schedules
Lead social media management including content planning paid campaigns community engagement and review management
Maintain and update the website ensuring performance optimisation through collaboration with developers
Build and expand the online audience through effective use of website and social platforms
Increase direct bookings through strategic online traffic campaigns
Design and distribute newsletters and promotional mailers
Monitor marketing trends to inform strategic business decisions
Establish and promote the brand s key communication message across trade direct customers PR advertising events and digital channels
Create and manage content to support sales teams trade partners and direct consumers
Set criteria and manage hosting of journalists and influencers ensuring clear deliverables
Liaise with outsourced PR agencies and coordinate press releases
Manage brand consistency across all touchpoints in collaboration with design teams
Support crisis communication management when required
Continuously review and refine brand strategy to ensure alignment with company vision and values
Minimum 3 years experience in a Marketing Manager role within a high-end luxury travel or hospitality brand
Proven experience within the luxury sector is essential
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a charismatic presence
Ability to confidently engage with guests stakeholders and shareholders
Deep understanding of luxury consumer behaviour and marketing strategies
Strong team player with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
Passion for premium hospitality and delivering a world-class guest experience
