Role Overview:
Build the engine that keeps our cards running smoothly! Design implement and oversee all card operations processes from the ground up.
Manage the day-to-day relationship and operational workflows with our partner bank and key SaaS vendors (CMS processor).
Define and manage processes for card issuance (virtual & physical) activation fulfillment (if applicable) and lifecycle management.
Establish and oversee critical back-office functions: reconciliation settlement with the bank/schemes dispute management (chargebacks) and fraud operations support.
Develop operational KPIs monitoring dashboards and SOPs to ensure efficiency accuracy and compliance.
Build and lead a small agile card operations team. Explore and implement AI tools for process automation anomaly detection in transactions or optimizing dispute resolution workflows.
Significant experience (5 years) in credit card operations specifically on the issuing side within a bank or fintech in Vietnam or a similar market.
Deep understanding of the credit card lifecycle including issuance processing settlement reconciliation and dispute resolution (chargebacks).
Experience working with card management systems (CMS) and payment processors (knowledge of vendors like Openway BPC M2P Pismo is a plus).
Understanding of card scheme (Visa/Mastercard) rules and operational requirements.
Proven ability to design document and implement operational processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and leadership potential. Familiarity with applying AI concepts or tools to operational challenges.
Good-to-Have Skills & Experience:
Experience setting up card operations for a new product or company.
Experience managing vendor relationships (processors card manufacturers).
Knowledge of fraud prevention tools and operational procedures.
Project management experience.
Experience within a bank partnership model.
