As Bar Manager you will be the driving force behind one of Fairmont Hanois most refined and experiential venueswhere world-class cocktails premium spirits and personalized service come together. You will lead all aspects of the bars operation from team development and service standards to beverage innovation and guest experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar ensuring exceptional service and consistent product quality
- Design and maintain an engaging beverage program including signature cocktails premium spirits and curated whiskey selections
- Lead train and inspire a team of bartenders and bar staff to deliver professional and personalized service
- Ensure effective inventory management cost control and supplier relationships
- Uphold hygiene licensing and safety standards in compliance with HACCP and local regulations
- Collaborate with culinary and marketing teams on pairings promotions and themed experiences
- Create a sophisticated and welcoming bar atmosphere through thoughtful lighting music and guest engagement
- Monitor guest feedback and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Represent the venue at hotel events and activations as a key ambassador
Qualifications :
Knowledge & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in bar operations with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of cocktails mixology techniques and premium spirits especially whiskey
- Experience in a luxury hotel upscale bar or fine-dining environment
- Proven ability to create innovative drink menus and train teams in service excellence
- Strong organizational interpersonal and leadership skills
- Certifications in mixology WSET or other beverage training are a plus
