Job Description
Business Insights Consultant 6 Month Contract
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Professional Qualifications/Honours Degree
- 5 years experience in a financial/analytical role within the financial industry
- Data analysis
- Datastory telling
- Presentation creation
- Public speaking
- Excel
- Power BI proficient
- Strategic and analytical mindset
Responsibilities:
- Manage team and team deliverables
- People and conflict resolution (including senior stakeholders)
- Understanding interpreting and presenting of financial risk client and other data
- Understand data enough to interrogate accuracy and use data to provide analytics to support business objectives
- Consolidate analyze interpret and provide high quality business intelligence and analysis
- Support stakeholders with data insights query resolution and ad hoc analysis of data
- Produce targeted reports and presentations that summarize findings and recommendations in order to inform stakeholder decisionmaking
- Solve stakeholder needs and drive the strategy for the business by providing insight and managing data analysis and interpretation on strategic issues and businessrelated challenges
- Seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and add value to CIB
- Understand how to use PowerBi to gather data for datastory telling
