Job Description
Key purpose:
As an Agile Scrum Master at our company youll be responsible for leading the Agile development process and facilitating communication and collaboration among crossfunctional teams. Youll be the driving force behind Agile best practices and will work to ensure that the development team is working efficiently and effectively. Youll be responsible for implementing Agile methodologies and practices tracking progress and removing obstacles that impede the teams progress.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Serve as the facilitator for Agile development processes and ceremonies including daily standup meetings sprint planning sessions sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Work closely with the product owner to prioritize the product backlog and ensure that the team is delivering highquality products on time and within budget.
- Foster a collaborative and productive environment for the development team by facilitating communication managing conflict and promoting team building.
- Act as a coach and mentor to the development team helping them to improve their Agile processes and practices.
- Identify and remove obstacles that impede the teams progress including managing dependencies and ensuring that the team has the resources they need to succeed.
- Track progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders including the product owner development team and management.
Qualifications and experience:
- 5 years of experience as an Agile Scrum Master or similar role in a software development environment.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- Scrum Master certification(s) such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
- Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies and practices including Scrum Kanban and Lean.
- Proven track record of successfully leading Agile development teams and delivering highquality products on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication facilitation and problemsolving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
