This role will require someone in Cleveland OH Pittsburgh PA Dallas TX or Birmingham AL.
CGI is looking for a Scrum Master to handle multiple Agile teams in a highly competitive and high visibility environment where your skills will be utilized extensively with a chance to enhance skills across spectrums. Your work will include coaching team members proactively eliminating barriers and facilitating team delivery on sprint goals. You will work closely with your team and Product Owner and peer Scrum Masters to support Sprint and Release Planning foster team self-awareness encourage cross-training decision-making and continuous improvement
The Scrum Master will be responsible for enabling high-performing Agile teams by fostering a culture of collaboration transparency and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include:
Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning Daily Stand-ups Sprint Reviews and Sprint Retrospectives.
Coordinate and manage multiple projects ensuring teams adhere to Agile principles and deliver high-quality work on time.
Coach team members on Agile practices and principles helping them to achieve higher levels of Scrum maturity.
Work closely with Product Owners to manage product backlogs and prioritize work based on business value.
Act as the primary point of contact for external communications (e.g. stakeholders customers) fostering alignment and transparency.
Facilitate communication remove impediments and resolve conflicts to ensure smooth team operations.
Support effective collaboration within the team and across other departments.
Guide teams in the implementation of Agile practices and changes.
Ensure quality standards are maintained for all deliverables at the end of each sprint.
Track and communicate key metrics (velocity sprint progress risks and issues) to leadership in a timely and effective manner.
Maintain and update documentation related to the design development and operational aspects of systems and software.
Champion Agile best practices and contributes to a culture of continuous improvement.
Uphold professional and ethical standards promoting a healthy and productive team environment.
Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Scrum Master working with Agile teams.
Strong experience coordinating Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning Daily Stand-ups Reviews and Retrospectives.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban) and frameworks.
Excellent facilitation coaching and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and Product Owners to manage and refine backlogs.
Strong problem-solving skills; ability to remove impediments and resolve team conflicts.
Proven ability to drive teams toward higher levels of Agile maturity.
Experience with Agile project management tool Jira.
Strong reporting skills able to clearly communicate status risks and issues to stakeholders and leadership.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88200.00 - $154300.00.
