Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide information which demonstrates an understanding of the customer base and allows the marketing department to target customers for new sales.
- Build meaningful reports and obtain useful information for Google PPC which assists in driving new orders.
- Resolving premier customers technical support queries
- To provide 24/7 monitoring of company infrastructure and systems
- Analysing & troubleshooting systems
- Introducing and integrating new technologies into existing data centre environments
- Backup integrity management (Ensure availability and restorability)
- Patch management
- Adherence to security and privacy processes
- Documentation of systems and processes
- Ensure optimal system performance and optimization
- Escalations from support departments
- Inventory management reporting any requirements and shortage to procurement team based on minimum reorder levels.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hardware/Networking fundamentals preferably in a datacenter environment (A/ N) or similar diploma
- Knowledge of HyperV/KVM environments
- Customer support experience
- Experience in Windows and Linux server management
- Basic scripting (Bash Powershell Python) and cli experience
- Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
