Plant Performance Engineer
Location: Mpumalanga Full-Time Power Up Performance

What Youll Be Doing:

Engineer Efficiency: Develop strategies to optimise performance production and system efficiencies.

Analyse & Act: Conduct performance tests analyse trends and generate detailed reports with practical recommendations.

Quality Control: Ensure measurement instruments and control systems are calibrated accurate and trustworthy.

Data-Driven Decisions: Forecast daily production monitor critical inputs (fuel steam water) and improve control logic to enhance plant performance.

Problem Solver: Investigate plant incidents and breakdowns assign costs and drive continuous improvement.

Compliance Mastery: Oversee waste/process by-product compliance and maintain SHERQ standards.
Your Expertise & Experience:
Qualifications:

B-Tech or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
-
Project Management certification
-
GCC Factories highly advantageous
Experience:
-
Minimum 6 years in a similar role within a power plant or utilities environment
Skills & Strengths:
-
Deep knowledge of DCS CMMS and plant operations
-
Expert in performance modelling testing protocols and risk assessments
-
Advanced numerical analytical and auditing skills
-
Familiar with SHERQ systems and legislative compliance
-
Strong command of MS Office and performance tools
-
Leadership mindset with sharp communication and facilitation abilities
