Job Description

The Role:
This role will drive architectural decisions that ensure systems scale efficiently mentor the engineering team to accelerate overall productivity and establish best practices that reduce technical debt while improving code quality. The expertise provided will directly impact the ability to deliver reliable high-performance products while building the technical foundation necessary for sustainable organizational growth.

Responsibilities:

Contribute at a senior level to the design development and implementation of critical business applications.

Work within Agile software development methodologies.

Create and maintain technical design documentation.

Conduct research analysis coding debugging and testing.

Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented development environment.

Perform QA testing on all code.

Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards.

Demonstrate strong time management skills to meet deadlines.

Coordinate with other departments to maintain a consistent focus on delivering high-quality outputs on schedule.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.

Experience with technologies such as Java Spring Spring Boot Spring Cloud Hibernate Ant Maven Angular TypeScript.

Hands-on experience with Docker Kubernetes AWS and cloud technologies.

Proficiency in GNU/Linux Shell Scripting and Python.

Experience with RESTful APIs Swagger/OpenAPI microservices development and distributed systems.

Experience with IoT technologies including AWS IoT (Shadow Greengrass) and MQTT is a plus.

Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL) along with familiarity with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.

Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Full understanding of the software development lifecycle with experience using tools like Jira and Confluence.

Solid object-oriented design and programming skills with working knowledge of design patterns.
