Job Description

Hire Resolves client a leading environmental consulting firm renowned for delivering innovative and sustainable environmental solutions is currently seeking a Stakeholder Engagement Administrator to join their dynamic team based in Randburg Johannesburg. This role is instrumental in managing public participation processes and fostering collaborative engagement with diverse stakeholders for environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and regulatory approvals.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and facilitate public participation processes for EIAs in line with NEMA EIA Regulations.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive stakeholder databases with accurate information.

  • Organize and manage logistics for public meetings workshops and consultations.

  • Prepare and distribute notices invitations and communication materials to stakeholders.

  • Collect compile and analyze stakeholder feedback and comments.

  • Assist in preparing Stakeholder Participation Reports and regulatory documentation.

  • Maintain meticulous records of stakeholder engagement activities ensuring regulatory compliance.

  • Liaise with project teams clients and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Minimum Grade 12 Senior Certificate with a Bachelor Pass/exemption; candidates with tertiary qualifications in Public Administration Communication Environmental Science or related fields will be considered.

  • Experience in stakeholder engagement public participation or community relations ideally in the environmental sector.

  • Passion for both people and the environment.

  • Knowledge of NEMA EIA Regulations and public participation processes is advantageous.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and Google Earth.

  • Valid drivers licence with extensive driving experience.
