Job Description
- Perform maintenance repairs and installations of plant equipment both locally and internationally.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance on DetNet equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Provide technical support to the Operations team assisting with troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
- Build repair and maintain test equipment to support operational efficiency and product testing.
- Assist with projects including the construction of Lean Cells and remote installations.
- Offer remote technical support to channel partners for plant equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical electrical and software-related issues in plant machinery and systems.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations during maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (light current) or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience in Mechanical /Electronic repairs and maintenance.
- Must be able to read and understand electrical/electronic diagrams.
- Experience in Pneumatic Control Systems (understanding installing and maintain system).
- Electronic/explosives plant experience will be advantageous.
- Excellent fault-finding skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good technical writing skills.
- Valid Drivers License.
