INTERNAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE (FLUID CONTROL INDUSTRY)
NELSPRUIT MPUMALANGA PROVINCE
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Matric
- Minimum 3 - 5 years current and relevant Sales experience in in the Pumps / Irrigation / Fittings / Valves / Pipes Industry Fluid Control Industry
- Experience required within the Pipe & Fittings industry / Engineering industries
- Sound knowledge of Pipes & Fittings valves Irrigation & Pumps
- Experience as an Internal Sales Representative
- Sound knowledge of Mpumalanga and surrounding areas will be servicing the region
- Proficient on Syspro (Advantageous)
- Must be passionate about sales a go-getter & pro-active
- Must be target driven regarding turnover and gross profit
- Understanding of sales process and dynamics
- A commitment to excellent customer service
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
- Valid drivers licence (no endorsements) (Essential)
- Must reside in Nelspruit or surrounding areas in Mpumalanga Province

Duties & Responsibilities
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
Principal Accountabilities: Sales
DUTIES
- Answering of incoming calls and converting enquiries into sales
- Handling of customer complaints & queries
- Ensuring that there is a set system to capture sales enquiries/orders and monitor the information
- Quoting by phone and Email
- Receiving and processing of sales orders on Syspro
- Sourcing of stock (standard and non-standard) from approved suppliers
- Checking on back orders on a daily basis and release invoices for delivery
- Expediting of sales orders (deliveries)
- General office duties
- Updating of customer discount structures on Syspro
- Liaise with Warehouse Manager regarding deliveries
- Leasing with external sales staff
- Accompany external sales staff on customer visits as and when required
- Providing leads to external sales staff
- All quotes to be followed up
- Orders to be liaised with the responsible external sales representative
- Ensure to keep credits at a minimum and follow the Credit Procedure
